Meet the woman behind Madame Liz
Elizabeth Cieslowska, known to many as Madame Liz, is a professional mystic, divination witch, and seeress. She is the founder of Madame Liz Tarot Parlor, a Tarot and Séance parlor in her home village, where she offers spiritual counseling to locals and travelers alike through the ancient arts of divination.
From a very young age, Elizabeth was captivated by the occult, the paranormal, and the mysteries of magic. Deep within, she always knew her path was one of service—helping others through the unseen. At the age of nine, while in a family vacation, a fortune teller foretold that she would one day walk the very path she does now. That prophecy planted a seed in her heart that would continue to grow throughout her life.
As a child, she experienced prophetic and mediumistic dreams, sleep paralysis, and out-of-body experiences. Encounters with the paranormal, alongside the loss of a close loved on, drew her to mix in a new world with mediums who initiated her deeper into the study of the afterlife. While others excelled in mathematics or art, Elizabeth discovered her gift lay in reading energies and sensing the hidden layers of reality.
Her formal journey began at the age of 20, when she was first introduced to the sacred art of cartomancy. From that moment forward, she devoted herself to the study of Tarot, its history, symbols, and esoteric wisdom, as well as exploring many other forms of divination.
Choosing a Bohemian lifestyle, she spent her early adulthood living in her car and traveling the world. These years were transformative, allowing her to refine her gifts and share her craft with people from all walks of life across the globe.
At 25, when the pandemic cost her a job, Elizabeth decided it was time to step fully into her calling, founding her professional Tarot practice online, full time. Since then, she has read for clients worldwide, weaving her natural clairsentience, visions, and automatic writing with the Tarot’s symbolic language. Through this union of intuition and study, she translates Spirit’s whispers into guidance for those ready to journey deeper into themselves.
Today, Madame Liz continues to share her work both locally and globally. She reads at markets and events across Montreal and Ontario, and through her YouTube channel @madameliztarot, where she offers collective readings and connects with seekers worldwide. She is also in the process of creating her first online Tarot masterclass and divination school, expanding her mission to guide others in unlocking their own spiritual gifts.
Elizabeth believes deeply that all humans are special and here for a reason. Her talent lies in seeing what has yet to be recognized in an individual. Her readings are a safe space meant to hold you as you unpack and explore your hidden strengths, wounds, and desires, guiding you towards clarity, healing, and empowerment. She views each session as a sacred dialogue with Spirit, where the cards and her intuition illuminate the paths you may not yet see, helping you step more fully into your purpose and power.
My Approach
My approach to tarot is intuitive, holistic and therapeutic. As a reader, I believe
unconditionally in the capacity of everyone’s inner wisdom, which can sometimes guide people to place the pieces of the puzzle of their own life themselves. Pieces, that I will never be able to place for them.
As an individual, I want you to understand the incredible power that lies within you. Yes, it is great to connect to something bigger than ourselves, but it's also important to acknowledge the divinity that resides, not "out there", but within you.
